Originating as a podcast in 2017, A Celtic State of Mind aims to present insightful discussion around the culture of Celtic Football Club, the city of Glasgow, and fans of the reigning double-treble-winning Scottish champions.

And just a year later ACSOM cemented its name among the plethora of Celtic podcasts in 2018 by winning the prestigious ‘Best Football Podcast’ at the Football Blogging Awards.

But it doesn’t stop there and part of their expansion since has seen them move into the live arena, where they have effectively been able to take the podcast on the road and broadcast in front of a live audience who are able to interact with the show while being entertained by well-known personalities and former club greats.

Back in March, they were joined by FansBet ambassador, Brian McClair, to offer fans a tantalising and humorous insight into the former Celtic and Manchester United legend’s career.

ACSOM and FansBet arranged this free event in the Celtic-friendly environment of McChuills Bar, where Choccy did not disappoint the packed-out audience.

As well as being streamed live, Choccy’s tales of Billy McNeill, Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona were recorded for a future ACSOM podcast, in what was the first in a series of events that they will be hosting in association with FansBet.
