Celtic’s win over Rangers in the Old Firm Derby on the weekend has pretty much guaranteed them an 8th consecutive Scottish Premiership title, although one expects Neil Lennon will ensure his team don’t take their foot off the peddle when they travel to St Mirren in their midweek clash. Form Labs bring you their betting preview and tips for the clash and don’t forget to head over to our FanBoosts section and check out where the value lies for all the midweek football action.

Champions Again

Although few doubted which direction the title would be heading towards, Celtic’s win in the Old Firm derby acted as final confirmation, even if an eighth straight title and 50th overall isn’t mathematically sewn up yet.

It means the visitors have won four of five unbeaten games under Neil Lennon in all competitions now, so second-from-bottom St. Mirren are unlikely to cause an upset.

Having said that, we think Oran Kearney’s side have a good shot at limiting the score. The adventurous Brendan Rodgers had his team playing some thrilling football during his time in Glasgow, but Celtic have won just one of their outings under new management by more than the single strike, with even rock-bottom Dundee keeping things respectable as they held the Bhoys to a 1-0 scoreline in their last road trip.

Rangers v Hearts Preview, Betting Tips And Enhanced Odds

St Mirren v Celtic Betting Tips

St. Mirren have risen off the bottom of the standings after going W2-D2-L2 over their past six fixtures, with both defeats narrow 1-0 losses.

They’ve taken points off the likes of Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts at one stage or another this season, while they’ve lost by more than the single goal just once in seven home league matches since mid-December as they went down 3-1 to Hibs.

Meanwhile, Celtic have only won by more than a solitary strike in one of their last eight league games on the road since the start of December, a 2-0 victory over St. Johnstone, so St. Mirren look appetising on the handicap.

St. Mirren +2 Asian Handicap At 1.86
