Juventus v Inter Milan Goalscorer Betting Tips
There’s no stopping Cristiano Ronaldo once he’s up and running. Last season he took a while to get going as suspension curtailed the start of his campaign, while he only netted once in his first eight league appearances on his return.
The previous year in 2016/17, he managed just two goals across his first six appearances, while in 2015/16 he only scored in one of his first seven league appearances (even if that was a five-goal haul plus an assist versus Espanyol) before resuming normal service. This term, he netted just three times in Juve’s first seven matches but has since chalked up seven in as many games as Cagliari were the only team to keep him at bay – though he still got an assist that day. Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala have managed a combined zero goals in 15 league encounters against Inter, and Ronaldo is as always, the favourite to find the net with good reason.
Napoli v Frosinone Goalscorer Betting Tips
Napoli hold a phenomenal record at the Stadium San Paolo in recent times, winning a massive 45 of 54 unbeaten matches when excluding top-four finishers and the current occupiers of those slots since 2015/16. They netted an average of 2.6 goals per game across these, while they’ve netted 3.36 gpg in the 11 that came against promoted outfits as they won them all. There should be plenty of opportunities for their forwards to get amongst the goals against second-from-bottom Frosinone.
Indeed, only basement dwellers Chievo have shipped more goals this season as Frosinone are out of their depth. They’re W1-D1-L5 on their travels, including a 3-0 defeat in their last away match at the San Siro against Inter, as well as 4-0 defeats at both Roma and Atalanta. Dries Mertens has bagged six goals in his last five appearances at the Stadium San Paolo and is level with Lorenzo Insigne as Napoli’s top scorer this term Although a short price to strike again, the Belgian can provide a welcome boost to any accas against limited opponents.
Udinese v Atalanta Goalscorer Betting Tips
Atalanta have been on fire in the final third recently, netting 17 times across their last six fixtures (2.8 gpg). Although three of these games came against the current bottom four, those were their last three road trips, while Udinese are only one place above that cluster of teams and Atalanta have scored 13 times in four matches against such outfits this season overall (3.25 gpg).
The goals have been shared out a bit as only captain Papu Gomez has reached four strikes in Serie A for the visitors this term, with another four players netting three times each. However, without a lone striker hoovering up all the goals, it’s worth chancing someone further down in the goalscorers market. Right-back Hans Hateboer is one of those with three league goals as he’s netted twice in the last three matches, while across all competitions he has averaged a goal every four games this season.
