Empoli’s defeat to Torino in their last fixture was their third on the bounce, and this will be the third game in a row where they’re missing the services of summer signing Rade Krunic through suspension. They’re only W4-D4-L8 with the 25-year-old Bosnian midfielder in the starting XI anyway, while they’ve lost six of their past seven matches against top-half sides as they conceded an average of three per game across these.
Inter’s ultras hardly covered themselves in glory against 10-man Napoli, but the team got the victory they wanted nonetheless and they’re comfortably wedged in third place – five points ahead of Lazio but still five behind Napoli. They should have no problems against an Empoli side that sit just three points above the drop zone, and indeed they’ve won 13 of 17 unbeaten matches versus bottom-six outfits since Luciano Spalletti took the reins – including eight of the past nine.

Parma v Roma Betting Tips
Parma have slipped down from 6th to 12th in the space of five games and they’ve been struggling for goals as they’ve netted just three times over this period. Indeed, only five teams have produced a smaller output so far this season, while they’ve gone W1-D3-L1 across their last five on home turf with each stalemate coming against the bottom three.
Excluding a narrow 1-0 loss away at Juve recently, Roma are now unbeaten in four with victories in their last two as they put three goals past both Genoa and Sassuolo. Their defence might not exactly be watertight to put it mildly, but given their hosts’ struggles going forwards, should have enough firepower to bring home maximum points whether or not Parma manage a consolation effort. Indeed, Roma have been impressively consistent when facing promoted outfits, winning 13 of 14 unbeaten games since 2016/17, completing W/W doubles in 11 of these and covering the -1 handicap in 10.
