St Mirren v Hamilton Betting Tips

St. Mirren produced a shock win over Hearts last weekend to leave them unbeaten in two, and they’ll hope to kick on with their opponents Hamilton just one place above them in the table and within swinging distance. The visitors have lost six of their last eight and most worryingly, they’ve been dire at the back and are now just one concession short of the 32 goals rock-bottom Dundee have shipped.

Indeed, they’ve conceded an average of three per game over their last seven, although we don’t expect quite such an output from St. Mirren with none of these games against the bottom four. However, we do expect Oran Kearney’s side to triumph on home turf, where they’ve won three of their last four against such teams as they’ve netted an average of two per game across these.

Premier League Enhanced Acca Betting Preview, Tips and Odds – Week 14

Livingstone v Motherwell Betting Tips

Motherwell may well have won three of their last four outings, but it’s worth noting that two of these came against the current bottom two, Dundee and St. Mirren, while the defeat was a heavy 7-1 annihilation at the hands of Rangers at Ibrox. That leaves them with four defeats from six road trips this term, with the two exceptions again coming at the same bottom two, as they’ve conceded three times at both Hibernian and Killie too.

That woeful rearguard action will be music to Livingston’s ears after going four games without a goal, but they’ve gone W3-D1-L1 against teams below them this term, failing to score just once and keeping a clean sheet on three occasions. Striker Dolly Menga may be suspended for Livingston still, but the Angolan had only struck once this term anyway and isn’t the biggest loss having never been prolific throughout his career so far. The hosts are W4-D2-L1 at home this term and should put some distance between themselves and their poor-travelling visitors.

Hearts v Rangers Betting Tips

Rangers may have ridden their luck at times but battled through another heroic display to keep the game level with Villarreal midweek. Allan McGregor in particular was absolutely phenomenal again, but the Gers should have a greater chance at winning against Hearts with a full complement out on the pitch. Indeed, they’ve won seven of their last nine domestically as they’ve scored 29 times to their opponents’ six, netting at least three goals in six of these games as they’ve found the net 12 times in their last three.

The dream of a title challenge is fading fast for Hearts after going winless in four, losing their last three as they conceded eight times, while they also lost 3-1 when these two met earlier this campaign. Hearts have now actually suffered defeat in four of five winless encounters with the Gers since the start of last term, conceding at least twice in each defeat. They’ve been three goals down by the break in their last two with the Old Firm duo and the scoreline could get ugly if Rangers get their lead early on.
