Hamilton v Aberdeen Betting Tips
Aberdeen have produced their best run of the season with five victories from six matches, with the exception coming in a 4-3 defeat to Celtic in a frantic finale as five of the goals came within the final 15 minutes. They netted 17 times across these matches in total, but although they only kept the solitary clean sheet, their hosts Hamilton look ill-equipped to outgun them.
Indeed, Martin Canning’s men are enduring their worst run of the season, losing five of six winless matches, which even included a 4-0 battering on home turf at the hands of rock-bottom Dundee. They’ve only managed to score more than a single goal in one of their 10 home games this season, against 11th-placed St. Mirren, and with Aberdeen emerging victorious in four of their last five on the road, should have little difficulty in extracting maximum points.
Motherwell v Hibernian Betting Tips
Motherwell are on a run of three defeats from four matches, and though they won away at Hamilton last time out, this recent spell also worryingly included a defeat at home to St. Mirren. They’re just W2-D3-L5 on home turf this season, with one of the victories coming against basement dwellers Dundee, and so this is a great opportunity for Hibernian to pick up some points and put further distance between themselves and the bottom four.
The visitors may only be W2-D3-L1 over their last six matches, but one of those victories came over Celtic while two of the stalemates came versus Rangers, and so their recent form isn’t too shabby at all. Excluding top-four sides, Hibs have won three of their last four unbeaten games on home turf, while across all venues they’ve won 10 of their last 13 unbeaten matches against bottom-four outfits – including a 3-0 victory in the reverse fixture back in August.
Kilmarnock v Rangers Betting Tips
Kilmarnock appear at first glance to be enjoying an excellent spell of form with six victories across their last nine, but it’s a little deceptive as they haven’t exactly suffered a challenging schedule of late as only one of these matches came against a top-four outfit – which they emphatically lost 5-1 away at Celtic.
Meanwhile, Rangers have tasted defeat just once in their last 14 outings, winning nine of these including a victory over Celtic last time out, while they’ve won four of six unbeaten matches on the road over this period. The Gers have already won 3-1 away at Killie this term in the League Cup, and will be looking to make a statement in the title race with the top three or four sides very congested at the head of the table.
Steven Gerrard has often got the best from his charges when a result was needed this term, and the SPL could soon be a two-horse race.
