Rangers v Aberdeen Betting Tips
Rangers have reached the head of the summit for the first time this season following their win over Hearts, despite Scott Arfield’s sending off, leaving them with six victories from their past seven unbeaten matches. The goals have flown in as they’ve netted over three per game on average across these, while at Ibrox they’ve scored 25 times in seven home matches as their sole blot came in a draw hosting a then 2nd-placed Killie. In fact, they’ve led at both half-time and full-time in six of seven home games this term, winning by at least two clear goals in all six triumphs.
Aberdeen had appeared to get their season going with three consecutive victories, but their 3-0 defeat at Motherwell last time out left a lot to be desired, while their subsequent League Cup final defeat to Celtic has deprived them of winger Gary Mackay-Steven. They now possess just the solitary victory in their last six on their travels, suffering defeats in three of their last four, while they’ve lost three of five winless league encounters with the Gers since the start of last season. Given the hosts remain unbeaten at Ibrox under Steven Gerrard in all competitions, having won 11 of 15 matches, we’d have to side with them.

Dundee v Hamilton Betting Tips
Dundee have won all three encounters with Hamilton in 2018 and will be looking to make it a clean sweep here. They endured a difficult start under Jim McIntyre as they suffered heavy losses in his first three games in charge after he took over in late October, but these all came against current top-half sides Livingston, Hearts and Celtic. Since then, they’ve lost narrowly on the road at Motherwell and picked up draws in their last two against St. Mirren and Hibs as there are signs of improvement to be found – especially in the character they displayed to come back from two goals down last time out.
Hamilton won 3-1 at 10-man St. Mirren in their last game, but prior to that they’d lost five of six winless road trips, including 6-0, 4-0 and 3-0 losses at Hibernian, Aberdeen and St. Johnstone respectively. That leaves them as the only side to concede as many as Dundee this term, though the hosts have only suffered heavy defeats against top-half teams and should at the very least keep it tight here. However, Hamilton’s poor away form stretches back into last season as they’re just W2-D2-L12 on the road since the start of 2018, leaving Dundee as our preferred option.
Motherwell v Celtic Betting Tips
Motherwell have conceded a worrying nine times across their last three fixtures, and even if seven of these came against Rangers, that still doesn’t offer Stephen Robinson’s side much hope against the stronger half of the Old Firm duo. Going W3-D1-L2 over their first six fixtures may be the nearest thing to a crisis domestically that the Hoops have experienced under Brendan Rodgers, even if those defeats came against 3rd and 4th placed Killie and Hearts respectively, while they still defeated Rangers. Indeed, Celtic have gone unbeaten from their 99 matches against bottom-half sides since 2013/14, winning 80 of them, and having found their groove again this season with six wins from their last seven unbeaten games against all opposition, we expect them to add another three points.
Moreover, their most recent six outings saw them strike four goals past their opponents on four separate occasions, though they weren’t just the champions pummelling the bottom teams, with the likes of top-half outfits Hearts and St. Johnstone losing 5-0 and 6-0 respectively. Celtic are on a high following their third successive League Cup trophy, and don’t appear ready to relent any time soon. Meanwhile, Motherwell have further problems with goalkeeper Trevor Carson now ruled out for the rest of the season, meaning a rusty Mark Gillespie will have to put on a show to keep the scoreline respectable.
