Mensur Suljovic v Michael Smith
Michael Smith is really having a tough year so far. Bottom of the league with just three wins in 12, he suffered more woe as he was whitewashed in the 2nd round of German Darts Grand Prix at the weekend by Ricky Evans. Mensur Suljovic on the other hand, sits tied 3rd with two others seemingly fighting for a play-off spot. In contrast, he lost a final leg decider in the quarter-finals against Rob Cross in Germany, and with a head-to-head record of 9-6 v Bully Boy, he is the bet as the outsider.
Rob Cross v Gerwyn Price
2nd place Rob Cross with eight wins in 12 comes into this in good form having won 14 of his last 19 matches on the tour, including making the semi-finals in Germany. 4th place Gerwyn Price has just five wins in-comparison in the league, with all his victories coming against players below him. Cross leads their head-to-head 4-2, including winning both their Premier League meetings 7-4 and 7-1, so looks excellent value.
Liverpool v Huddersfield Preview, Betting Tips And Enhanced Odds
Daryl Gurney v Peter Wright
Once again, it’s an easy decision to oppose Peter Wright. He lost 8-2 last week to James Wade, meaning it’s just two wins in 12 league games, and then he crashed out at the first hurdle of the German Grand Prix to Ross Smith. Daryl Gurney was only defeated in a final leg decider to Rob Cross and has won 63% of his matches this year compared to Snakebite’s 53%.
James Wade v Michael van Gerwen
James Wade has been in great form the last 18 months, and particularly in 2019 where he’s won 22 of his 26 matches this year. Predictably Michael van Gerwen picked up yet another title in Germany but he still looks a little short against a player who has won two of their last four meetings 7-3 and 8-3.
