Villarreal v Celta Vigo Goalscorer Betting Tips And Odds
A 2-0 defeat at Barcelona keeps Villarreal down in the bottom four, and although they won last time at home against Real Betis, they still conceded so it’s now eight games without a clean sheet. Their only shut out at home this season has been against the divisions joint-lowest scorers Valencia, while going back into last term it’s just three in their last 21 in front of their own fans.
We’re never confident of Celta Vigo winning, but they’re pretty reliable when it comes to getting on the scoresheet with only the top two outscoring them so far. Both teams have scored in all six of their away games and their main candidates are Iago Aspas and Maxi Gomez. The duo have netted 68% of their goals this term, and although it was Aspas that bagged a double last week, he’s actually only found the net in two of his last eight with the other a hat-trick. Only two of his 10 goals have come on the road, whereas four of Gomez’s seven strikes have come away from home.

Espanyol v Barcelona Goalscorer Betting Tips And Odds
This looks to be one of the more competitive Barcelona derbies in recent times as Espanyol find themselves up in seventh. However, the gloss of their good start has worn off slightly with three consecutive defeats, though they did still net in the one to take place at home. No side has shut them out at the RCDE Stadium this term as they won their previous five matches here.
Barca kept their first clean sheet in 12 came when hosting Villarreal last time out. On their travels, their sole shut out this term was at newly promoted Valladolid, who are the other team that are joint-lowest scorers this term, and going back into last season they’ve just two clean sheets in 12 away matches. Part of their defensive issues has been down to Samuel Umtiti only starting four games, and he has once again sustained a long-term injury.
The Catalans have conceded an average of 1.47 gpg in the 15 away matches the Frenchman has missed since signing in the summer of 2016, compared to just 0.79 when he’s started. So, Espanyol should at least fancy getting on the scoresheet against their neighbours, with Borja Iglesias the most likely contender. The big man up front has eight goals already this season, netting in five of his last six.
Athletic Bilbao v Girona Goalscorer Betting Tips And Odds
Bilbao’s season is going from bad to worse as their 3-0 defeat at Levante stretched their winless run to 13 matches. Their sole clean sheet this term has come against Valencia, and new manager Gaizka Garitano is short of options at the back for this clash. All three left-backs are either injured or suspended and they didn’t look comfortable changing to a back-three at Levante from their usual back-four. Furthermore, their defensive leader Inigo Martinez is suspended, and he’s missed just three matches since arriving in January.
One man who will be licking his lips ahead of this clash is La Liga’s top scorer Cristhian Stuani. The Uruguayan has 65% of Girona’s league goals this term, netting in seven of his last nine starts and producing 11 goals across these in total. Having netted in all four of his starts away from home, he looks a cracking price to add to his tally.
