It remains tight at the top of the Spanish league with just the five points separating the top five, Barcelona being top and Real Madrid being fifth. Los Blancos feature in our week 15 La Liga acca with our traders going for a win away at Huesca. In the other two games they have gone for Real Sociedad to get the win over Valladolid and for Real Betis to record a home win over Rayo Vallecano. Huesca v Real Madrid Betting Tips
Real Madrid are re-building under Santiago Solari, winning six of his seven games in charge prior to facing third-tie Melilla in the Copa del Rey. He’s had an easy time of it in the league with all four opponents so far 12th or below and they now travel to the worst of the lot, Huesca.
The north Spain minnows are struggling in their debut season in La Liga, losing nine of 13 winless matches since the opening day of the season. Their biggest defeats have been at the hands of Barcelona and Atletico, 8-2 and 3-0 respectively, so we give them little chance of an upset here. Indeed, Los Blancos have won 10 of their last 13 against promoted outfits and going back as far as 2013/14, they’ve won 25 of 31 unbeaten trips to bottom-six sides.
Real Sociedad v Real Valladolid Betting Tips
Valladolid were as high as sixth a few weeks ago but they’ve slipped down to 15th in a truer reflection of their status within the league. Their four-match winning streak that propelled them up the table were all victories by one goal with three finishing 1-0. They’ve since kept just one clean sheet as they’ve lost three of five winless matches, with the latest a 4-2 defeat at home to a Leganes side that last won away from home back in October 2017.
Real Sociedad haven’t had the easiest fixture list at home this season with just one bottom-six visitor to date. Their only two defeats have been at the hands of Barcelona and Valencia, but they won here most recently against Celta Vigo. They should have no problem backing that up as they’re W9-D3-L1 hosting bottom-six clubs since 2016/17.
Real Betis v Rayo Vallecano Betting Tips
Having struggled to put the ball in the back of the net in the early part of the season, Real Betis have found their scoring boots with nine in their last four. They’ve lost just once in this run, but notable results include a 4-3 triumph at the Camp Nou and a 1-0 success most recently hosting Real Sociedad. The attractive style of football they play is not fairly reflected in their position in the table and they should make it three wins from their last four against a struggling Vallecano.
Although the visitors won last time out, it was at home and their only other victory this season was against the one side below them, Huesca. Excluding that fixture, they’ve lost four of five winless trips this term, including each of their last three. Betis meanwhile, have won six of their last nine hosting current bottom-six teams and last term’s bottom-six finishers.
