Juventus Unbeaten
Inter may be a comfortable 3rd at the moment but they’re already 11 points off the pace after just 14 round rounds of action. Juve have been even more dominant than usual as they remain unbeaten having won all but one of their games, with nine of them by at least two clear goals including each of the last four. They’ve scored the most and conceded by far the fewest, as no one has put more than a single goal past them since their opening day win over Chievo.
Inter Stuttering Form
The visitors had won seven on the trot, but they’ve only emerged victorious once in their last three, which came against second-from-bottom Frosinone. The other two came on their travels as they were humiliated 4-1 at Atalanta, while they were extremely fortunate to draw with Roma as they controversially opened the scoring moments after their opponents should have been awarded a stonewall penalty.
Luciano Spalletti’s men now have just three wins in their last eight across all competitions, and just one in their last five on their travels (W1-D1-L3) as they’ve suffered 2-0 and 1-0 defeats away at Barca and Spurs respectively in the Champions League.

Nainggolan’s Form Hampered By Injury
Radja Nainggolan has struggled to shake off a couple of niggling injuries and hasn’t been at his absolute best recently when he has featured, most notably being hooked before half-time against Spurs with yet another slight issue. That was one off five defeats Inter have suffered across all competitions, though Nainggolan was absent for another three of these as the Nerazzurri have struggled in his absence.

Icardi’s Form Offers Hope
Even the fine form of captain Mauro Icardi can only offer slight hope for Inter. The Argentine has a habit of popping up with important goals, already netting second half strikes against Spurs, PSV, Milan, Barca and Roma this term – with three of these coming in the 87th minute or later. However, none of those sides are as good as Juve at seeing a game out, and he’s only managed two goals and an assist in his last six encounters with the Old Lady, with all three of these contributions coming at the San Siro.

They can also boast four consecutive clean sheets at the Juventus Stadium against Inter in all competitions since 2015/16.
