Griggy arrives here in good heart having won 2 of his last 3 starts, looked to take another step forward last time out at Chelmsford and will be very hard to beat this evening from a handy stall position. Sean Curran runners are in good form at the moment and he has an excellent record with runners winning again quickly after a previous victory.

Next Best – Al Daiha 4.00 Lingfield

Lightly raced filly who has put in a couple of solid second-place finishes recently. The latest here over 2 furlongs further but today`s drop in trip should be no issue for this keen travelling type. The hood looked to help last time out and is retained again. The Ed Walker stable have had 5 wins in the last month so are in decent heart and Luke Morris has a 27% strike rate for the yard in handicaps at Lingfield.

Each Way – Barrington 7.45 Kempton

Still a maiden on the A/W after 12 attempts but has slipped to mark he can be competitive off as proven when just ran out of things late on here over 6f recently. Can be forgiven his latest effort when not looking to enjoy the Newcastle surface and should be able to go well from a decent draw this evening.
