Nap – Omnivega 5.30 Kempton
Returns from his winters break after an eye-catching performance here last autumn (missed start held up stayed on with some purpose in last 2 furlongs). Trainer David Simcock is currently in excellent form with 6 winners from 19 runners in the last couple of weeks, with Callum Shepherd who takes over in the saddle today riding 4 of those winners.
Next Best – Seven Clans 1.45 Southwell
Although Seven Clans has not won for couple of years this multiple a/w winner has posted a couple of solid 2nd place finishes recently over the CD to suggest his turn is not far away again. He looks the most solid of the market leaders with Adjutant being unproven on the surface and Princess Harley stepping up in grade.
Each Way – Monjeni 7.30 Kempton
Posted a solid effort in a stronger race than this one last time up over CD, drops down into a 0-75 today and now 3lb below previous winning mark. Ben Curtis is a positive jockey booking having a 20% strike rate when being booked by Ian Williams.
