Nap – Luscifer 5.30 Southwell
Trainer Tony Carroll looks to have found a good opportunity for Luscifer to follow up on his CD win just 4 days ago. A reproduction of that comfortable 3 length victory should be enough to take this low grade handicap. The inform Ben Curtis is in the saddle again and he has a 30% strike rate with the stables A/W runners.
Next Best – So Satisfied 4.35 Musselburgh
Never out the first 4 in 7 starts around Musselburgh it`s safe to say So Satisfied keeps his best efforts for this course. CD winner this time last year off a 4lb higher mark there was signs of a return to form at Catterick last time out and he should go close back on home turf.
Each Way –Pumblechook 8.00 Southwell
Pretty exposed handicapper but he has only had the couple of runs for current trainer Iain Jardine and has slipped considerably down the weights recently as a result of some poor efforts. Last time here over 2 furlongs further was much more promising though, finishing 2 lengths 3rd in a similar event to this. Jamie Gomley is 5 wins from 10 rides for the stable at Southwell in the last year and he is expected to add another victory this evening.
