Nap – Oxwich Bay 2.40 Taunton
This looks a good opportunity for the selection to break his maiden tag over fences. Things did not really go to plan over the bigger obstacles last season, falling to complete on 3 of his 5 starts but it`s interesting connections revert back to chasing off this reduced mark and on the back of a promising couple of runs over hurdles this winter. The Ewan Williams / Adam Wedge partnership continues in fine form with 7 wins from 18 runners recently.
Next Best – Mr Magill 4.10 Taunton
The C&D race in which Tactical Manouevre, Neetside and Mr Magill finished 1-2-3 looks the key piece of form when looking for the likely winner here. Mr Magill was 5 lengths back in third that day but is better treated at the weights today and looks a fair price to reverse that form.
Each Way – Tout Est Permis 2.30 Leopardstown
Despite being better known as a high-class chaser including winning a Grade 2 at Thurles last January Tout Est Permis has ran 2 solid efforts in similar handicap hurdles to this recently. He finished 4 lengths behind the re-opposing Treacysenniscorthy last time over C&D despite a couple of errors and if he can brush up on his hurdling today, he is expected to go close in a wide-open event.
