Nap – Court House 2.55 Lingfield
Some good quality on show for this All-Weather Championships Qualifier. Bangkok heads the ratings but has to prove himself under today’s conditions. Court House is a dual course winner and he is expected to steal a march on his main opponents who are likely to be played late.
Next Best – Rodney Le Roc 12.35 Lingfield
Ayr Harbour was a good winner on handicap debut last time out at Newcastle and should go well in his bid to follow up. It`s another handicap debutant though that I`m looking to strike with, Rodney Le Roc has shown enough in 3 spins most notably last time out over a furlong shorter than today`s trip to suggest a mark of 57 can be a winning one. The step up to 7f looks the right move and trainer John Best is currently in excellent form (6 wins from last 15 runners).
Each Way – Suzi`s Connoisseur 1.10 Lingfield
The previous course and distance winner Suzi’s Connoisseur looks to have solid each-way claims in an open event. Back down to a winning mark, he showed up well 2 starts ago in a slightly stronger race than this. Ben Curtis continues to be in excellent form including riding a four timer at Newcastle yesterday.
