Nap – Jurys Out 4.20 Hereford
Jurys Out looks to have been found a nice opportunity to break his maiden tag over the larger obstacles. Was a faller here 3 out on Chase debut in what looked a stronger race than this. He was sure to be involved in the finish that day, and having had 125 days off since that effort hopefully it will have not left an impact. Drops back in distance today but has won over shorter over hurdles and prominent tactics would not surprise.
Next Best – Cultram Abbey 4.10 Kelso
Now 13 years young but showed enough spark when returning from a lay off here in December to suggest he still can be competitive under the right conditions. Has been dropped 2lbs for that effort and also comes down in grade today. Has lots of form around here including a CD victory to his name and will have no issue with underfoot conditions. Goes well fresh and the Nicky Richards yard are currently in good form with 7 winners from the last 16 runners.
Each Way – Destinys Choice 4.00 Southwell
An open looking handicap in which it is hoped that the selection can build upon the promise shown last time up when making his handicap debut. That was over 4 furlongs shorter and this new trip looks the right move based on that evidence. Showed enough promise on his previous runs in novice hurdles to think he can win races of this mark of 96.
