Nap – Dancing Feet 5.30 Wolverhampton
This looks a good opportunity for Dancing Feet to break her maiden tag, the daughter of Footstepinthesand showed enough promise on her only 2-year-old start at Doncaster last June to suggest she has the ability to win a weak novice event like this (first 3 home all mid 70 rated). She has switched to the Archie Watson since that effort and he has an excellent record with his runners first time up for the yard, (28% strike rate). Hollie Doyle comes in for the mount which is a positive booking when you consider the partnerships record together in the last year, (18R 7W 10P).
Next Best – Cottonopolis 7.30 Wolverhampton
Dazzling Darren obviously has to be respected on his hat trick bid but he has another rise in weights and grade to cope with plus this will be his 3rd start now in less than a month. Cottonopolis looks like he should be suited by this step up 12f based on his couple of recent handicap efforts on the A/W. Joe Fanning should be able to set things up nicely from a prominent position and he his taken to improve the excellent recent record of Johnston/Fanning handicap runners at Wolverhampton (22R 7W 10P).
Each Way – Embrace The Moment 8.00 Wolverhampton
Just the 2 runs for his new trainer Ian Williams since switching out of the Richard Hannon yard, there has been promise in both those runs especially last time up over this CD a month ago. The cheek-pieces are added for the first time and he will not need to find much improvement in this easier race to be competitive.
