With Dortmund suffering a surprise first league loss of the season last weekend and Bayern putting together a 15-match unbeaten run in all competitions the Bundesliga title race going into 2019 looks that much more interesting. The defending champions will want to finish the year on a high this weekend when they travel to fifth placed Frankfurt, the final round of fixtures before heading into the winter break. Form Labs brings you their betting preview and tips for the game and if you are looking for some more Bundesliga value then check out our enhanced acca for Bayern, Leverkusen and Leipzig all to win!
Bayern Dominant Over Frankfurt
Bayern have blitzed the hosts in the head-to-heads since 2010/11. The visitors have won 11 of 14 unbeaten meetings, keeping a clean sheet in 10 of these, while winning by at least three strikes in six. That is an impressive record against a team that is no slouch as they currently trail Bayern by just three points.
However, having gone on a run of six wins from seven unbeaten matches and going above Bayern in the table, Frankfurt have since won only one of their last four, losing twice. Those defeats came against competitive sides Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin as they have a woeful record against the teams in the top-half of the table, losing five of seven this term, so that doesn’t bode well at all for this encounter.

Bayern On A Decent Run
Bayern overcame Leipzig midweek which is a good gauge of where they are at now. Indeed, they have now won five of their last six in all competitions while they seem to thrive against better sides as they have won 10 of 14 encounters with the top-six since the start of last season. That includes four wins from their seven trips, but interestingly they still conceded in six of those away games.
With that in mind, we fancy the Bayern win and both teams to score, as the visitors have conceded in five of their last six on the road against all teams, while Adi Hutter’s men have netted an average 3.4 goals per game across their last five at Commerzbank-Arena. Moreover, in Luka Jovic they have the joint-top goalscorer in the league, so this certainly looks the value bet.
