FansBet Racing Cheltenham Preview Night

Racing fans it's a night to whet the appetite for Cheltenham as the FansBet Racing team are joined by a quartet of industry heavyweights for their inaugural Cheltenham Festival Preview Night.

The Cheltenham Festival is rapidly approaching and to celebrate the 2019 renewal of greatest show on turf, FansBet Racing have constructed an expert panel to give their collective insight and opinion, plus share a tip or two for the four upcoming magical days at Prestbury Park.

Can Percy play the Obeaux? Is there any alternative to Altior? Will Buveur be walking on D’Air? Will Paisley be parking in the winners’ enclosure?

If these are the kind of questions which keep you awake late at night, look no further! In conjunction with ‘The Sportsman’, the FansBet Racing team will be live streaming their event between 7.30pm and 9.00pm on the 26th February 2019, via Facebook and Twitter.

The Panel

Brian Hughes – FansBet Ambassador, 2018 Cheltenham Festival winning rider, current Great British Racing ‘jockey of the month’, plus already the architect of more than 1,000 career winners in the saddle.

John ‘Shark’ Hanlon – One of the best loved and most colourful and charismatic characters in the British and Irish racing landscape, County Carlow-based trainer ‘Shark’ Hanlon is known both for his lengthy association with equine greats such as Hidden Cyclone, as well as for being one of the most entertaining and informative voices around on the sport of kings.

Conor O’Hehir – The grandson of legendary Irish commentator Michael O’Hehir, Conor is a horse racing expert who contributes to a variety of television output, including that of Ireland’s national broadcasterRTÉ. Based in the racing heartland of County Kildare, Conor writes FansBetRacing’s popular weekly ‘Irish Angle’ column.

Tom Lee – Well known to the racing public for his decade long stint as betting reporter on Channel 4 Racing and The Morning Line, Tom also currently holds the equivalent role with RTÉ in Ireland, as well as heading up the rapidly expanding FansBet Racing operation. A diehard jumps racing fan, rumour has it his seven children are all called Percy.
