We asked some of our Fan Partners to tell us about their highlights of the last ten years following their team so here's John Pearman from Red All Over The Land to give us his delights of the decade just gone...

Best memory of the decade

Watching players emerge, including Raheem Sterling. Just watching players such as Trent Alexander Arnold should give any young player a lift.

Player of the Decade

Steven Gerrard. His time with Liverpool and what he meant is the reason, there is no need to say anything else.

Game of the Decade

Liverpool 4 Barcelona 0 The greatest European night ever at Anfield and it tops a pretty impressive list. 3-0 down from the first leg, top players missing and facing a side with the worlds best player in it. It will be talked about for and by generations to come.

Biggest disappointment of the decade

Roy Hodgson becoming Liverpool manager. Six months of toil for the fans and the players. Cheered up when he went.

Goal of the Decade

Luis Suarez v Norwich at Anfield 2013. It think it was the third of the night, Luis scored four.

Most underrated signing of the decade

For Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk because Sky said he wasn’t worth the fee we paid. Proved them, a countless experts wrong.

Best team of the decade

Last seasons, 2018/19. Best Liverpool team I’ve ever seen.

What is your hopes for the next 10 years and where do you think your club will be in 2030?

My hope for the next ten years is to survive as much of it as I can so I can still publish Red All Over The Land.
