Aston Villa v QPR Betting Tips
Aston Villa were subject to a second half comeback against Leeds in their last home game, which saw them let a 2-0 lead slip. That defeat though is only their second at Villa Park this season as they have now won half of their last six outings here and look to have found some momentum.
Indeed, they actually have a phenomenal record when hosting sides in the top-half of the table, as they have only been beaten twice from their 27 matches since their relegation from the Premier Leaguer in 2015/16 and they will be incredibly hard to beat yet again.
QPR on the other hand, have won only four of their 12 road games so far this term with three of them coming against poor bottom-six outfits; Bolton, Reading and Ipswich. Indeed, excluding those sides they have gone W1-D2-L5 as that run includes a 7-1 mauling at West Brom. With that in mind, we would rather be with the hosts against a side that seem to pick up the majority of their points at Loftus Road.

Hull City v Bolton Betting Tips
When these two sides met earlier in the season it was set out as an all important bottom of the table six-pointer, but things have changed since then. Hull City have accelerated on from that victory, leapfrogging their opponents in the table and climbing out of the bottom six.
Indeed, against the bottom-half of the table they have now won each of their last three and we can’t see a poor Bolton outfit stopping that run.
Moreover, the Tigers won this fixture last season 4-0 as they like performing at the KCOM Stadium, with three wins from their last five matches here, as only Forest got the better of them while they beat West Brom and shared the spoils against front runners Norwich.
Bolton are a team going in the opposite direction, having been up in the top-five after five matches they have since been slipping own the table. A huge factor of that has been their form on the road as their last away win came back in August against Reading. They’ve lost six of their last 10 winless trips and they’ll duly struggle in their opening encounter of the new year.

Stoke v Bristol City Betting Tips
Stoke have finally found some form at home with three straight wins to their name. Although two of them were against Ipswich and Millwall, they still needed to get the job done overcoming Frank Lampard’s Derby prior to that, so they’ll fancy their chances against Bristol City.
The Robins find themselves W3-D2-L4 across their last nine games on the road which is no disgrace, but two of the victories were over basement-dwellers Ipswich and a struggling Brentford. Stoke are only mid-table but are on the improve and so defeats against the likes of Wigan and Reading in the run for City doesn’t bode well.
The Potters won the reverse fixture and that three points was one of their only two victories on the road this term as they have been much better in front of their own fans.
