Livingston In Better Form

Following a run of six defeats from nine winless matches in all competitions between mid-December and mid-February, Livingston have since picked up their form and have gone W3-D1-L2 across their subsequent six matches.

Although a marked improvement, it’s unlikely to prevent Celtic racking up their sixth win from seven unbeaten games under Neil Lennon, though they should at least fancy their chances of limiting the final score.

Performance Dip Under Lennon

The Bhoys won by two goals or more in eight of their nine domestic matches in 2019 across all tournaments under Brendan Rodgers, with five of these wins coming by a margin of three or greater.

However, since the change in the dugout, only two of their six outings to date have seen them win by two clear goals and they’re yet to win by a larger amount, despite having faced both of the divisions’ bottom-two sides in Lennon’s brief time back at the helm, as well as a Rangers side that played an hour of the Old Firm derby with 10 men on the field.

Celtic v Livingston Betting Tips

Livingston held Celtic to a goalless stalemate when these two last met in November, but while we’re not expecting a repeat of that scoreline, the visitors have only lost by more than a single strike on four occasions from 17 encounters with top-half outfits this term.

Gary Holt’s side may be without a win on the road since his first game in charge against St. Mirren back in August, but across all competitions, only one of their last nine on their travels have seen them go down by more than the solitary strike.
