Celtic Recent Form

Neil Lennon is overseeing the formalities of an eighth consecutive title, but he’s only won six of his nine games at the helm in all competitions and the football on offer at Celtic Park is understandably a far cry from the slick performances regularly achieved under Brendan Rodgers.

Indeed, only one of those victories saw them triumph by more than two strikes, which came against an Aberdeen side that suffered two red cards on the day – the first of which was produced before any of the goals had been plundered.

Rangers v Aberdeen Preview, Betting Tips And Enhanced Odds

Kilmarnock Recent Form

Killie struggled in the early part of the year, but results have picked up a bit since the beginning of March and they’ve only been defeated once in seven outings.

That did come last time out against Aberdeen as they went down 1-0, though this time it was the Dons who benefited from their opponents seeing red on three occasions.

The visitors have appealed the decisions against both Kirk Broadfoot and Rory McKenzie and it remains to be seen until Thursday if they’ll be available here, though Stuart Findlay will definitely be missing out.

However, should the appeal against Broadfoot be unsuccessful, Steve Clarke will be without either of his first choice centre-back pairing for this clash.

Celtic v Kilmarnock Betting Tips

Although their absences have the potential to hurt Killie, they can at least call upon the manager to make them difficult to break down.

Clarke learnt from a master of the art under Jose Mourinho during his time on the Chelsea coaching staff, and has consistently delivered versus the Old Firm duo, going W5-D5-L3 up against them in league action since arriving at the club in October 2017.

Two of those defeats were narrow 1-0 losses and as such, Celtic are far too short at the prices and the value is all with the visitors.
