Bayern Munich v Dusseldorf Goalscorer Odds
Niko Kovac’s men will be conscious of the fact that their chances of a seventh straight Bundesliga title are slowly slipping away having won only two of their last seven outings. However, they’ll throw the kitchen sink at this game as they’re ahead in their Champions League group on 10 points, while Kovac will know the pressure is growing on him domestically. Dusseldorf on the other hand, have lost six of their last seven as they’ve conceded three goals per game across these, as their last two trips to top-six sides saw them lose 7-1 and 3-0 to Frankfurt and B. M’gladbach respectively.
With Robert Lewandowski an injury doubt, that leaves Arjen Robben the next highest scorer in the team to be fit. The Dutch winger scored three goals from his first four appearances this term but has since been suspended and had knee problems, which have interrupted his season. Having had some time to recover over the international break, he should fancy his chances of capitalising on the worst defence in the league.
Hertha Berlin v Hoffenheim Goalscorer Odds
Hoffenheim are in blistering form having won each of their last four matches. Moreover, excluding the current top-six they’ve won six of their seven matches this term with five of them being by two or more goals – including each of their last three road trips. That makes their top scorer Reiss Nelson a great price to get on the scoreboard as 14 players lie above him in the betting, and being almost certain to start, we’re very surprised. The 18-year-old has impressed on loan from Arsenal, producing five goals from as many games while he also provided an assist in that time too. Facing a team that has an injury crisis in defence, with regular starters Karim Rekik (CB), Niklas Stark (CB) and Maximilian Mittelstadt (LB) all absent, he should run them ragged – particularly as he’s been most effective down Hoffenheim’s right flank.
Wolfsburg v Leipzig Goalscorer Odds
The deadly duo that is Yussuf Poulsen and Timo Werner will be leading the line again for Leipzig this weekend. They have 12 goals split identically between them domestically this season, while it is the latter who has been coming up trumps in recent outings. He has five goals from as many recent matches for club and country, with the last of these a sublime effort against the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League. Indeed, the Bulls have won both their last two outings by a 3-0 scoreline, against Hertha and Leverkusen, and look in red hot form with their star striker back to his best. What’s more, Wolfsburg have lost three of their last five winless matches at the Volkswagen Arena as they’ve conceded an average of over two goals per game across them, which should make things easier for the German international.
