Hannover v Leipzig Goalscorer Odds
The wait for a win goes on for Hannover fans as their side have now lost six of their last eight winless matches since their last three-pointer. The hosts are starting to look desperate and although they have parted ways with Andre Breitenreiter, we don’t think that’ll give them the needed bounce from their new manager, Thomas Doll. The reason for his axing was a 5-1 drubbing by league leaders Dortmund as they sit level on points with rock-bottom Nurnberg, and with only four days to implement his system onto the squad, this fixture looks a bit too soon for the new manager to have an impact.
Leipzig have won three of their last five outings as only top-two sides Dortmund and Bayern could get the better of them since mid-December. Indeed, both those were narrow 1-0 defeats while they’ve proven their quality since the resumption of the Bundesliga with a 4-0 win at Dusseldorf last time out. It was Yussuf Poulsen that netted half their goals in that trip and he now only trails his teammate Timo Werner by just one goal for the season. Given the Danish international has scored in each of his three meetings with Hannover to date, he looks a better option than his strike partner at the prices.

Hoffenheim v Dusseldorf Goalscorer Odds
Hoffenheim finally ended their seven-game winless run with a 4-2 victory over Freiburg at the weekend. However, that run included six stalemates and the sole defeat was at the hands of Bayern. Excluding the five sides above them in the league, they have won six of their last 11 unbeaten outings, netting three or more in over half of these. Andrej Kramaric netted a brace in their recent victory over Freiburg and the Croatian now has 11 goals from his 13 matches for both club and country since November. He found the net at least once in 10 of these as he only failed to score against B. M’gladbach, Werder Bremen and Bayern.
The visitors may have won four of their last five matches, but they were put to the sword 4-0 when hosting Leipzig last time out, while their wins on the road in this time came against weak opposition in Hannover and Augsburg. In fact, they lost four of their previous five road trips before those fixtures, conceding an average of 3.8 goals per game and that sets a good platform for Hoffenheim’s top scorer.
Hertha Berlin v Wolfsburg Goalscorer Odds
Wolfsburg haven’t returned the same team they were before the winter break. They went on a run of five wins from six unbeaten matches up until Christmas, but since they’ve lost both games to Schalke and Leverkusen (both of whom are below Hertha in the table). Indeed, the latter won 3-0 and this downturn in performances has coincided with the absence of their in-form striker Daniel Ginczek. They’ve lost five of their last six winless games without him starting, so we’re looking towards the hosts in the goalscorers market’.
Hertha may have only gone W4-D4-L1 from their nine matches at Olympiastadion this term, but with over half of these fixtures coming against the top-six sides that is still an impressive record. They haven’t been short of goals either, netting an average of two per game across their last four here. Since returning from a much-needed break, Vedad Ibisevic has certainly found his goalscoring form. The captain has netted in both matches since the restart, whilst also providing an assist, and given he averages more shots per game than any other teammate this season, he has to be our selection.
