Dortmund v Werder Bremen Goalscorer Betting Tips
Lucien Favre opted to rest his top players Marco Reus, Jadon Sancho and Axel Witsel for their trip to Monaco. That was with an eye on their busy domestic schedule with three matches in the space of a week as their trip to rock-bottom Dusseldorf is sandwiched by home games with Bremen and Gladbach.
With that in mind, we expect them to play a full-strength outfit for those home matches and that will mean a return to the starting line-up of their captain Reus. The spot-kick taker has 10 goals across his last 15 matches in all competitions and as he’s averaged more shots per game than any other teammate in the league (2.4), as well as netting three goals from his last two at the Westfalenstadion,
Bremen are without a clean sheet in six, conceding 15 times across these, so Rues has a fantastic chance to add to his tally.
Furthermore, the German forward who loves playing against this side, with 11 goals from his 15 matches against them since 2009/10 (the joint most versus any team in his career), including 10 from the last 12.
Hoffenheim v Gladbach Goalscorer Betting Tips
The hosts bowed out of Europe during the week to Champions League favourites Man City, meaning they can turn all their attention to the league. That will be needed with a tough run of fixtures coming up, but it should be manageable with their talented squad. One man who will be fresh for this encounter will be Kerem Demirbay, who missed that European outing due to suspension, but will be gunning to get this Hoffenheim side back to winning ways this weekend. The midfielder has only got five full 90 minutes under his belt after injury has held him back, but having still managed to have a hand in three goals across those matches, he’s interesting at a juicy price.
This fixture has been notoriously high scoring in previous years with 39 goals being seen over the last eight meetings since 2014/15 (4.9 per game) and so we’re expecting this one to be another entertaining affair. Indeed, the only two career fixtures this German midfielder has played against Gladbach have both come on home turf, as he has netted in both of them with a brace in one, which isn’t bad going. Moreover, the visitors may be second in the table, but with only two wins from their seven road trips so far as they’ve conceded nine goals across their three defeats, we like Demirbay’s chances.
Frankfurt v Leverkusen Goalscorer Betting Tips
Frankfurt’s formidable trio of Luka Jovic, Ante Rebic and Sebastien Haller have been carving apart the Bundesliga this season. They’ve scored 24 of their sides’ 30 goals this term as only the current top two teams have netted more so far. Jovic is currently the joint-top scorer in the league while Haller only trails him by one, making them deserved front runners in the goalscoring markets.
However, although the former leads the scoring charts, half of those strikes came in one game against rock-bottom Dusseldorf and so we’d prefer to be with his striking partner Haller at the prices. The Frenchman has had a hand in 10 goals across his last seven games as he netted six of them himself and looks the obvious choice.
Leverkusen have struggled this season against top-half sides too as they’ve lost six of their seven such games this season. Moreover, they conceded an average of exactly three goals per game across them and these goal hungry Frankfurt forwards aren’t going to let them improve that record.
