Leipzig v Bremen Betting Tips
Leipzig have had a stronghold on this home fixture since promotion to the Bundesliga, winning both their matches here by two goal margins as it has been a fairly routine three points. Their job looks to have been made easier this time around with the visitors on such a poor run of form, winning only one of their last eight encounters – against a poor Dusseldorf side. Indeed, five of these ended in defeat, so we don’t give them much hope travelling to one of three unbeaten home teams.
The Bulls may have lost to Bayern midweek, but that came on the road where they have been pretty poor this season. However, at home, they have been prolific with six wins from their last seven unbeaten matches, while they have conceded just one goal here since September (six game period). With that in mind, this should be a walk in the park against a Bremen team that has lost each of their last three at top-six opposition.
Leverkusen v Hertha Betting Tips
Hertha have won only two of their last 10 matches and that won’t fill them with confidence as they travel to a Leverkusen side that has been climbing the table since October. The visitors looked to have turned a corner with those two victories coming in succession against Hannover and Frankfurt, but they have since lost at 16th placed Stuttgart while they failed to get past an Augsburg side that has lost four of their last six winless matches. On their travels alone, that record gets worse as they have won only one of their last six – at second-from-bottom Hannover – whilst half have ended in defeat.
Leverkusen are on a current run of W3-D1-L1 across their last five as that solitary defeat came against an impressive Frankfurt side. That record includes wins in each of their matches at the BayArena, while in all competition they have won three of their last four unbeaten matches here. We expect the hosts to close the three-point gap between the two sides this weekend, especially since they have won four of five meetings at this stadium since 2013/14.
Frankfurt v Bayern Munich Betting Tips
This is set to be a crunch match between two sides at the business end of the table. Bayern struck late in their midweek tie with Leipzig, proving their form against the top sides in the table as the Bavarians look back to their usual dominant ways. That victory was made even sweeter by the fact that Dortmund’s unbeaten run came to end at Dusseldorf, closing the gap at the top of the table to just six points. Niko Kovac’s men will certainly have their sights on reducing that further and with five wins from their last six unbeaten outings in all competitions, that looks likely.
Frankfurt are no slouches though, as they only trail their visitors by six points, but a large proportion of those points came in their excellent run of six wins from seven unbeaten matches between late September and November. However, that form hasn’t carried through to this month as they have only one victory from their last four as they lost to both Wolfsburg and Hertha.
Indeed, against top-half sides they have lost 10 of their last 13 matches since February this year, while you have to go back as far as 2010 for the last time they beat Bayern at the Commerzbank-Arena. Indeed, their record against the Bavarians since then at all venues reads W0-D3-L11, with six of these by a deficit of at least three strikes.
