Bournemouth v Norwich: The Canary Cast View

It's a trip to the South Coast on Sunday to face another relegated side looking to bounce back to the Premier League first time around.

Joe Hinchliffe

This Sunday Norwich City face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on the back of a home draw with Preston North End last weekend.

Both clubs were disappointing last season and fell out of the Premier League into the Championship, but both are looking to bounce back at the first time of asking.

So what should we be looking out for on the South Coast this Sunday?

Norwich City

Aarons

This week has seen academy product Max Aarons being linked with Spanish giants Barcelona.

It will be very interesting to see if Aarons is in the right frame of mind with, at the time of writing, no further developments taking place despite the persistent rumours.

With personal terms having been agreed for a while and Max wanting the move we could potentially see young Bail Mumba make his first league appearance at right back against Norwich’s first real promotion rival this season, one way or another one young English right back will have a lot on his hands facing a Bournemouth side with an array of attacking talent.

 Who can score more?

Both sides come into this one having edged their first game by a goal and then both being fortunate to take a point from their second game.

Bournemouth have had a big overhaul losing the likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Nathan Ake and Callum Wilson but still have the likes of £25m Jefferson Lerma in the centre of midfield so they are not short on options.

Both of these came down with the second worst and first worst goals conceded last season so expect goals! With both teams still giving away chances on a regular basis and with the attacking talent both sides have it could be a goal fest!

Buendia

With Kieran Dowell now injured until the New Year could we see the return of the magician Emi Buendia?

Whilst Norwich have scored three goals in their first two games they are still missing a that flair that the wonderful magician has given them over the past two seasons.

Having not played for almost a month it would be a big surprise to see Emi start but all of us Norwich fans are hoping to see the number 17 on the bench this Sunday!

 Promotion Contenders?

Both of these sides are fancied to make an immediate return to the promised land this season with both of their squads, on paper, looking very strong.

With a few weeks of the window still to go both squads could see players join and depart but both teams and supporters will be seeing anything short of a top six finish this season as a failure!
