The UEFA Nations League has been that rare example of something new that everyone immediately likes. The group stages are in their final weekend, with promotion, relegation, and qualification for the four-team finals in June being decided.

Most of the focus has been on the top teams, understandably, but let’s not forget that there are 55 teams in the Nations League, and the lower reaches are just as exciting as the top.
